There are so many forums out there. You just have to pick a few or all. Since I was into code before my web development journey started (but other languages), I’m part om 3 communities here in New York. And they seem good for my new career direction as well.

Elpha
This is a professional network that aim to help build womxns careers. They have great communities with different topics, “office hours”, job opportunities, hand-picked introductions and more. Always a friendly tone and they even have a community called Elphas Can Code :) Last but not least, it’s free and you can invite other womxns that you think might be a good fit for the community!

Women Who Code
This is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to inspire women to excel in technology careers. You can get help developing you skills via their Meetups and they also have a job board. They have different network for different areas or cities, but also a network called Women Who Code Front End. Bingo!

Girl Develop It
This is a nonprofit organization that want to help women pursue careers in software development. They have different chapters for different regions or cities. They also have free basic materials on their web and payed events (one session or 6 classes). Last minute tips! They have a virtual mini-conference tomorrow (and it’s free thanks to sponsors).

As I wrote in my post about Networking under new circumstances - you just have to find the right networks and join them. I noticed that the 3 above work great under the current circumstances. But still, it is of course even more nice when you can meet in person.
